One-way vision film, also known as perforated window vinyl, relies on a special dot-perforated structure to achieve one-sided visibility. The surface is printed with vivid advertising graphics on one side, covered with countless tiny uniform holes. When light differs sharply between the inside and outside of a space, the human eye can only capture the brighter side clearly. During daytime, outdoor sunlight is far stronger than indoor ambient light. External viewers only see the colorful printed patterns on the film, unable to look through the small holes to observe the interior. From the inside, however, people can easily see outside through the perforations without visual obstruction.
It is worth noting that this visual effect depends entirely on light intensity. After dark, if indoor lights are brighter than the dark outdoors, the privacy effect reverses, and passers-by will see the indoor scene clearly. This film is widely applied on storefront glass, vehicle windows and office partitions, perfectly combining advertising display and daily viewing needs with its simple but effective optical design.
